Operation Who Am I

25 Days To Feel Good About Yourself

Using a very simple and straightforward approach, you will feel empowered after completing each day of exercises.

The book is divided into three sections:  Who was I, Who Am I now and finally Who Would I Like To Be. After 25 days of non-clinical and straightforward questions, you will be able to answer these questions and you should also begin to feel lighter, more confident and less anxious about life outside of the military.

While you are being asked a lot of questions each day, you are also going to be asked to only take forward the essential knowledge and leave the rest behind.

BRENDA NORTHEY, M.B.A.

FOUNDER AND BOOK AUTHOR

Brenda began her career as an ice show producer, finding new markets for professional ice skaters. Most of these shows were fundraisers which led her to work directly with non-profit agencies. Later, she founded her own charity that helped homeless, single mothers find housing, jobs and daycare for their children. This new model changed Transition Housing in Ontario. She worked once more with the homeless in Newmarket and found once again that programming that provided purpose and structure daily helped many high- risk clients move forward for the first time.

To uncover a greater understanding of what motivates people, Brenda had read philosophy, psychology, sociology and religion. The person she most connected with was Viktor Frankl. Frankl developed models around meaning, based upon his experiences in concentration camps and with his own clients.  His most famous book, “Man’s Search For Meaning” is a must read for those looking for ways to overcome their own suffering and find meaning in their own experiences.

The author has been asked whether this book could be given to other people outside of the military.  Yes.  You just need to adapt some of the questions in the section that focuses on the military career.  This book is available in all English-speaking countries around the world through Amazon or through your local bookstore.
